Giving away seedlings!

Yesterday the Community Garden team were kept very busy giving away seedlings. We planted and grew these seedlings ourselves. It was also great to have lots of new people registering to become part of the PES Community Garden.

We would be keen to hear how well your new plants grow at home! Keep checking out the blog to read the latest updates about how we are going.

Tomorrow we are giving away seedlings!!!

Tomorrow the community garden committee will be giving away seedlings from 2:30pm at Pt England School. If you have registered, or wish to register on the day, you will be able to take some seedlings home.

Feel free to come along even if you are just taking a look at how we are getting on.

The Site...

Not much happening on site at the moment as we wait for permits and soil testing.

The site (see photo) has great potential and ample space. You will be able to access the garden from the school, and also from Elstree Ave.

In the meantime our seedlings are growing steadily and will be ready soon to give away for planting in your home garden. Some seedlings will also be planted in the bays outside of classrooms - so look out for those.
